The Mothers Trust Foundation is a nonprofit organization supporting social service providers by offering assistance to children in need in Lake County. Children are identified by a social worker, school staff, counselor, court officers, or other qualified human service providers to receive services by the Mothers Trust Foundation. This foundation provides the following assistance: payment of fees; school supplies; clothing; summer school fees; field trips or other school-related expenses; housing expenses; transportation; psychological or medical emergencies; camps; after-school or park district programs; and other opportunities that will help children and youth avoid the damaging effect of destructive circumstances and experiences.
