Congratulations to Ashton Irby, the son of Mrs. Karen Irby, for being selected for the Daugthers of the American Revolution - Good Citizen Award. This award is based on dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism to school and community. Ashton was selected by his class, the Class of 2008.

Scholarships Availability
The Guidance Office has several scholarships available for qualified students. You may stop by the Guidance Office or call the Guidance Office at 847-578-7400 (Ask to be transferred to the Guidance Office)as soon as possible. Some scholarships have very rigid deadlines!
Credit Recovery Opportunities for NCCHS
Effective January 22, 2008 NCCHS will offer an opportunity for students to earn credits in the core academic areas through our after school Credit Recovery Program. Classes are filling up quickly. Interested persons should stop by the Counseling Office ASAP to get more information about our new Credit Recovery Program. Any student in jeopardy of not graduating on time should take advantage of this free credit recovery opportunity.

Exam Procedures:
*All students must take final exams during the assigned period for their class. Only the principal can approve an exception.
*Students should be on time for all final exams.
*All students must stay in classrooms for the entire final exam period.
*Only students with excused absences in which your parent/guardian has notified the school by 10:00 am will be allowed to make-up a final exam. It is the student’s responsibility to make arrangements with the instructor for an appropriate make-up time.
*No hall passes will be issued. Bring study materials with you so you can study after you finish a final exam.
*All school rules still apply.
*No students are allowed in hallways during a final exam period.
*Lunch will not be available.
Where can students go when they are not taking an exam?
Library or LRC – These are quiet study areas. Students must plan on remaining in these areas for the entire final exam period. No hall passes will be issued.
