At the NCCHS-Wauconda football game on Friday, September 7, 2007, members of the Lake County Board of Commissioners awarded North Chicago Community High School a grant in the amount of $149,370.38. This money was designated to be used to support academics, particularly in the areas of math and reading. The Commissioners who presented the check included Mr. Angelo Kyle, Ms. Aubrey Nixon, and Ms. Mary Cunningham. Also, Board Members representing the school district were there to receive the check. Those members included Ms. Harper, Ms. Epps, and Mrs. Myers.
NCCHS salutes our Lake County Commissioners for their continued support to our school and community.
